Welcome to Personnel

Employment of competitive positions within Town government are regulated by New York State Civil Service laws. Those laws require that you take an exam and be placed on a Certification of Eligibles list to be considered for employment within municipal government.

  • Reviews and completes paperwork required by Civil Service Law.
  • Processes all employment applications.
  • Maintains and updates all employee’s personnel files and records.
  • Answers questions and inquiries regarding civil service.
