Clarkstown Looking for Historical Artifacts
Artifact Collection on July 23, 9am – 12pm at Town Hall

(New City, NY) –Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann announces the Town of Clarkstown is looking for historical artifacts, documents, or images for the Town’s 225th anniversary exhibit. If residents have items they would like to loan or donate to the exhibit, they are asked to bring historical items to Town Hall on July 23rd, 9am to 12pm.

This year the Town is celebrating its 225th anniversary. Supervisor Hoehmann created a committee of Town officials, historians, and residents to help facilitate a historical exhibit in the lobby of Town Hall with notable themes and people of Clarkstown’s history. Clarkstown is also working with a local Eagle Scout, Carrington Gregori, who will construct display cases for the exhibit for his Eagle Scout Project and help collect historical artifacts.

Residents can call 639-2050 with any questions about donating historical items.
