New for 2017 for ALL Clarkstown Residents
The Town of Clarkstown Recreation and Parks Department has a NEW computer software program called Communitypass that will streamline the registration process for all Recreation programs. The new program is very user friendly and will make all future registration easier for residents.
ALL residents must:

2. Verify age and proof of residency in person at Recreation and Parks Administration Building, 31 Zukor Road, New City, Monday - Friday, 9:30 am to 4pm; Tuesday and Friday nights, 7pm to 9pm; Saturdays 10am - 12
Communitypass is a secure site that the Town of Clarkstown is now using for program and facility registrations. All Residents must sign up for a Community Pass account even if you have registered for programs and facilities in the past.

Reminder, your family household consists of up to 2 adults over the age of 18 and all of your legal children. (Grandparents living in the home and anyone else over the age of 18 will need to make a separate family membership account.)
Overview of Clarkstown Recreation & Parks Department
The Recreation and Parks Department provides comprehensive recreational programs and activities for everyone in our community from preschoolers to senior citizens. The park system incorporates about 700 acres of park land, four (4) community centers, three (3) outdoor pools, three (3) picnic areas, two (2) picnic shelters, twelve (12) ball fields, one (1) soccer field, bocci ball court, two (2) tennis courts, one (1) wheel park, five (5) playgrounds, four (4) outdoor basketball courts, and a historic home and barn. We also partner with the school districts within the Town for the use of various school facilities in order to deliver many of our programs.
All Town parks are for Clarkstown residents only with the exception of the following:
- The Davenport Preserve which was purchased with federal and state funds in 1974 is open to the general public.
- The Miniature Golf Course located at Germonds Park is open to the general public.
A rich source of family fun, Recreation and Parks offers a variety of programs, including: After School Programs, Summer Camps and Playgrounds, Year Round Preschool Program, Sports Programs and Swim Instruction and 12 Senior Clubs.
The Administration Building is located at 31 Zukor Road, New City, NY 10956. The office is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Registration hours are Monday-Friday, 9:30am-4:00pm, Tuesday and Friday evenings 7:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday, l0:00am-12:00noon.
