Town Creates New Senior Club in Upper Nyack

New City, NY – Supervisor Alex Gromack and Councilwoman Shirley Lasker announced today the Parks Board and Recreation Commission have created a new senior club in Upper Nyack.  The club meets every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm at the Marydell Faith and Life Center (at Kateri Lodge), 640 North Midland Ave., Upper Nyack. 

The Town has 12 other clubs, with over 2,000 seniors that meet at various locations throughout the Town.  The clubs provide a great opportunity for seniors to socialize with other seniors, hear speakers, play cards and more.

In order to join the club, one must be a Clarkstown resident and at least 60 years old.  Residents are encouraged to call 639-6200 to join the club or for more information.
