Rockland County Kennel Club and Town Clerk Justin Sweet Announce Responsible Dog Ownership Day on October 1st!

Clarkstown Town Clerk Justin Sweet and Clarkstown’s Animal Control Officer Pat Coleman are happy to announce that the Rockland County Kennel Club will be holding a Responsible Dog Ownership Day on Saturday, October 1st in Congers. The event will be held on the VMA Field behind the firehouse on Lake Road in Downtown Congers from 1PM to 4PM.

Responsible Dog Ownership Day will feature a Dog Contest, Raffle, Displays, Dog Trainer Exhibits and one of the Clarkstown Police Department’s K-9 Officers. Admission to attend the event is $1.00. Entry into one of the Dog Contests is $5.00. All proceeds from the event to benefit the Congers Veterans Memorial Association. Clarkstown Town Clerk Justin Sweet will also be holding a Town Clerk’s Mobile Office at the event. Many of the services available at the Town Clerk’s office including dog licensing, handicapped parking permits, Nanuet Commuter Lot parking tags, KI tablet distribution, free notarization and super saver bus tickets, as well as information about town services, will be available.
